Kelly Lynch

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR)

Antioch University Seattle (2018)

Member of the American Counseling Association and American Art Therapy Association

Originally from Southwest Colorado, I have lived in Washington since 2015. I have spent much of my free time as a whitewater rafting guide. My life has been sculpted by the rivers and creeks of the Western United States.

I enjoy practicing what I preach and take the time to do the things I am passionate about.

I take care of myself through yoga, walks with my dog, and paddling on the local rivers around Washington state.

Approaches

I want you to live a life that is built on authenticity, intention, and wellness.

I offer each of my clients a personalized approach that incorporates mindful strategies, emotional exploration, creative directives, and collaborative experimentation. I believe communication with yourself and others is at the heart of all healthy relationships.

As an empathetic witness, I strive to increase your self-awareness and sense of agency through cultivating wellness and balance in your daily life.

In the therapeutic space, I value creativity, authenticity, and a sense of humor.

My approach is grounded in person centered, relational, and strength based theories.

I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, and Somatic approaches.

Zoe Matthews

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA)

Antioch University Seattle (2024)

Originally from Minnesota, I have spent the past six years living in Washington State, embracing the diverse experiences and perspectives that come with this vibrant region.

Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a wilderness guide and a case manager for several years, helping individuals navigate the outdoors and fostering personal growth through connection with nature. This experience shaped my understanding of resilience, and the profound impact of facing challenges in a supportive environment.

When I am not counseling, I can be found engaging in my own methods of self care such as playing in the nearby mountains, snuggling my 11 year old dachshund Gus, mastering my sourdough recipe, or tending to my garden.

Approaches

I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions, experiences, and goals.

I specialize in life transitions, neurodiversity, depression, trauma, anxiety, and substance abuse. I aim to work collaboratively with individuals to build resilience, develop new skills, and achieve sustainable personal growth.

In the theraputic space, I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Attachment-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

My background as a wilderness guide also informs my belief in the importance of connection—to oneself, others, and the world around us—in the healing process.
